In 2023 werd dit gebouw uit de jaren 1970 in de Parijse wijk Marais door de bekende architect Jacques Moussafir getransformeerd tot een stijlvol multifunctioneel gebouw. Een van de belangrijkste blikvangers is het absoluut unieke bedrukte textiele gevelsysteem, waarvoor Moussafir Architects samenwerkte met het Nederlandse bedrijf Inside Outside.

We are delighted to announce that our project has received a Silver Award in the Roll-to-roll Printed Textiles category at the FESPA Global Print Expo. This unique 2,000 m2 facade artwork, ‘The Conversation,’ was created for Puma Headquarters in Somerville, near Boston, USA. Printable Technical Textiles printed the facade textile with their SolidskinTec printing process.

With rail transportation rapidly gaining popularity as a sustainable alternative to road transportation, the demand for (technically) durable rail vehicles is also growing. So too, are these so-called "Shimmns" for steel coil transport.

In 2018, Koch Membranen was challenged by the Deichmann Group to create a new fabric facade consisting of as many as five shades of green from the shoe chain’s corporate identity. It was a logical wish from the architect but a difficult task for the installer. After all, the specified technical textile from Serge Ferrari (Frontside View 381 mesh) was not standardly available in these shades of green. The required quantity of each color did not come close to the required minimum for custom production.

Printable Technical Textiles was asked by its French partner ACS Production to apply a durable print to the fabric for the front and side walls of the hall, which gives it a unique look with a print that is guaranteed to last at least 10 years!

In the heart of Brickell, one of Downtown Miami’s most popular neighborhoods, you will find the Novotel Miami Brickell. In early 2021 this hotel was completely renovated, and the rooftop deck with swimming pool, lounge, and pool bar got a stunning new look. Printable Technical Textiles was asked to print the fabric for the sunshade roofing of the rooftop bar with its renowned SolidskinTec printing process.

Brasserie Goudale (Arques, France) distributes its beer brands with TSA Transports in Calais. Over the past years, both brewer and transporter agreed that they would change their side-curtains to the high-quality standard that our SolidskinTec printing process provides, improving their marketing appearance and durability on the road.

Dutch Circuit Zandvoort underwent a large-scale upgrade in preparation for the return of Formula 1 to the Netherlands. The entire circuit was redesigned to be ready for the future. An important eye-catcher was the renovation of the main grandstand, including a brand new fabric roof.

With a fleet of over 1000 electric vehicles, the successful online supermarket Picnic won the hearts and minds of the Dutch consumer. The eye-catching electric vans with printed sidecurtains with SolidskinTec, address a fundamental flaw in online grocery shopping and delivery; its impact on carbon emissions. We’re happy and proud they chose our printed side curtains with SolidskinTec.

Maastricht University commissioned the renowned and award winning photographer Robin de Puy to create an artwork for these screens. The images used for the sunscreens show humanity in different settings. Each printed zipscreen has its own photo and obviously, these beautiful photos deserved a print quality to the highest standards. The artwork is called “Screening Diversity”.

Not only trucks use our SolidskinTec printing process to preserve appearance during transportation. Also, Clarijs uses our printed and coated canvas for their (cycle)bags and bakfiets covers. Like trucks, these bags are subject to excessive use and weather conditions and need to withstand the test of time. Printable delivers custom printed and printed series productions with outstanding quality. Clarijs also creates bags from our leftover materials to create a more sustainable bag with a surprisingly funny result.

The exposure of materials on trains requires extreme robustness. Besides the challenging conditions the textiles are exposed to, such as rain, wind, and UV-radiation, they must also withstand the copper deposit created by the grinding of the current train collector against the overhead contact line. Very aggressive cleaning methods are needed to remove this deposit from the materials. Our printing technology is dirt resistant and does not break in this challenging cleaning regime.

Visitors of the Brunssum Open Air Theater, in the south of the Netherlands, enjoy the brand new Tensile roof of the theater, which was installed by APR Projects on behalf of Poly-Ned. Local architect Ivo Rosbeek designed the structure, where integration with the environment was essential.

In 2010 Smurfit Kappa started driving with side curtains printed and protected with SolidskinTec. Seven years later more than 200 of these curtains are (still) driving and look great with their high-gloss finish and deep black appearance. For Base Structures UK we have produced these unique sunshades for a private residence in the Middle East. In this production the print design is on the inside of the textile to create a unique experience and carry the interior design from the villa out onto the terraces on the outside. The outside of the textile is left white to reflect the sun and keep the terrace cool.

ELI Play is an in-house supplier and manufacturer of surprising and versatile indoor playgrounds. Printable Technical Textiles contributes to this quality by supplying printed and protected technical textiles for their softplay components. The printed designs are of great importance to the experience of the playground. An easily overlooked benefit is the unique coating that protects the print and textile. This makes ELI Play playgrounds fun and makes them safer and more hygienic.

The KU13-Store in Kulmbach opened in September 2018. Printed on our open weave substrates. This interior lights create a playful mix with the graphic designs on the textile facade.

Schüco produces high-end solutions for windows, doors, and facades around the globe. For their head office in Germany, Printable Technical Textiles printed the technical textile for the textile facade mounted on their “FACID” façade system. The result is not only an eye-catching facelift of their office building but also an excellent reference for how the FACID extrusions can be applied. To promote this system, Schüco demanded the highest quality.

For the new office building of Zuiver Media, Poly-Ned installed a sun-resistant textile cladding, resulting in this clean corporate image. The printed facade membrane provides solar protection for the building, favouring energy savings and reducing operating costs. It also ensures the privacy of the occupants of the premises, while maintaining a good vision to the outside. Poly-Ned chose Printable to print the textile with our unique printing and PU coating technique. 

A PES/PVC fabric facade as a flexible second skin around a building is one of the most cost-effective solutions, as it can retain up to 80% of the heat from the sun. It’s a low-cost solution compared to other facade claddings, and it offers a higher degree of customization as the fabrics can be printed with any pattern or design. They are characterized by their lightweight, high durability, flexibility, and resistance to different weather conditions.

What can printed textile bring to interior architecture? Get inspired by the out-of-the-box thinking of the designers at Inside Outside. This interior design agency, owned by Petra Blaisse, is famous for their creative use of materials in interior design. Their preferred material to work with is soft and pliable to create movement and ever-changing effects. For the brand new build Schauspielhaus in Düsseldorf, they created these beautiful custom curtains in the theatre's Restaurant Schillings.

The company Hillebrandt Stahl- und Behälterbau approached us to print this 1325 m2 tensile architecture fabric facade on Serge Ferrari’s Frontside View 381 mesh with our unique SolidskinTec print en polyurethane fusion process. SolidskinTec makes the print and textile resistant to weather influences such as UV radiation, wind, and rain.

Isn’t it beautiful? The matching colours of the printed curtain sider and the colour of the cabin make for a unique and impressive identifying image. However, what will it look like in a year, after UV-radiation and other harsh weather conditions have shown their forces? Well, just as beautiful as it looks now!

These giant beach chairs are a real eye-cacher and a load of fun! The beach chairs of (the original) Strandstoel XXL are used for promotion at festivals and events. The giant billboards offer great photo opportunities for brands and instant succes by promotion on social networks.

PIA Automation opened their new plant in Bad Neustadt. A key visual aspect of the new building complex is the branded facade. The frontage showing the corporate identity and slogan 'We Automate Your World' on an 1.000 square meter mesh material that will be visible from a huge distance.

For the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham (NEC), Base Structures delivered a 3-Dimensional fabric facade cladding and printed over-cladding that are part of the revitalization and redevelopment of the center. The new design has 37 translucent pyramid structures with especially sandwiched panels between the pyramids as a series of vibrant color panels. These colors were carefully designed and also used in the corporate identity. As part of the permanent installation, the perseverance of color is essential to NEC. The unlimited 10 years warranty ensures it will stay in perfect condition for years to come.

Parking garages are enormous buildings built efficiently and with low-cost structures in mind. Often placed in central areas in town, architects struggle to balance cost against the appearance of the construction from the street. More and more, we see that parking textile facade structures solve this dilemma.

The central railway station of the city of Almere is one of the main hubs of the region. It will become even more important in the coming years, as Almere is growing and the regional public transport will be extended. ProRail contracted Buitink Technology to replace a great part of the hood with printed textiles. Printable Technical Textiles was asked by Buitink Technology to produce the printed textiles for this project.

Partners HealthCare is a Boston-based non-profit hospital and physicians network that includes Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, two of the nation's most prestigious teaching institutions. After many years of being scattered across more than a dozen offices in and around Boston, Partners HealthCare’s administrative employees are coming together under one roof and that needed a huge parking garage. Printable Technical Textiles was asked to deliver the large format banners for the facade based on the proof of durability in appearance and resistance to extreme weather conditions.

Château de la Barbinière in Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre is where design and refinement meet in an unspoilt countryside. The park of 13 hectares deploys its architecture in a natural and calm environment. Attached to the main building, ACS Production made this expansion with a textile facade. The design is in line with its surrounding. It is a clever solution to hide the technical/work area to visitors and keep the area looking pristine.

With a fleet of over 50 trailers, FLO Palettes - Groupement FLO chose to print their curtainsiders with SolidskinTec. For many years, these trucks have been a well-known sight in France.

The design is printed with our SolidskinTec printing process and is the choice of the strongest brands across Europe. The high-quality print and deep blacks and varnishing effect really make the design stand out and it will for years to come.

The new bus terminal at Zwolle train station is adorned with a beautifully printed fabric roof. The print is created using the latest photo and print techniques and protected with a unique coating. The canvas, with a total weight of 900 kg, is printed and attached to the steel construction of the hood of 70 x 13 meters. The project was created in close cooperation with Buitink Technology.

These giant interactive billboards are customised to fit the brand. Printable printed these robust covers for BigAirBag. Both companies share their pride on the high definition digital print, the use of innovate materials and durability of appearance. Printable Technical Textiles delivered the printed substrate of the textile facade for Cheops Technology located in the periphery of Bordeaux

Grupo Logístico Arnedo is the leading national transportation company in Spain. With printed SolidskinTec side curtains fitted by Toldos Urca, their fleet of 240 trucks is protected against the harsh Spanish sun and heavy roads. The dirt-repellent characteristics also mean that the company can reduce the cleaning program of the curtain-siders.

The Charleroi Danse Theatre was installed in 2014 and these shots were made in 2018. The facade architecture textile is characterised by its printed surface. Printed on-demand, our substrates achieve the best hard-wearing resistance combined with freedom of choice in design and ideas this is the reason The Ateliers Jean Nouvel and MDW architecture chose for our membrame.

The Fricke - Saphir Building in Bockel, Germany was renewed in 2013 and holds a retail shop for their products. The vulnerability and the exposure to nature were key in this project. Long time relationships between printer, confectioner and producer of the technical textile, lead to the right solution.

We can hardly think of a better reference than being selected for our textiles for facade architecture of the Cité internationale de la tapisserie (Museum of Aubusson tapestry). Located halfway between Clermont-Ferrand and Limoges, this major centre for artistic craft and a skill dating back to the Middle Ages, the Aubusson tapestry was listed as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
