After 35 years, the circuit of Zandvoort entered the Formula One league again with the Dutch Grand Prix*. Being part of the world stage of racing, the circuit needed an upgrade. One of the eye-catchers is the main grandstand. Poly-Ned renovated the entire roof in cooperation with APR Projects.

The underside of the roof is completely fitted with a printed and coated technical textile, produced by Printable. Since the circuit is situated close to the sea, the print will be exposed to salt, sand and sun. Our unique coating will protect the textile for years against a quick degrade of appearance and the adherence of salt crystals on the textile.

By using printed fabrics, Poly-Ned not only offered an aesthetically beautiful renovation solution, they also created eye-catching advertising space for the sponsors of Circuit Zandvoort.

*due to COVID-19 the F1 Dutch Grand Prix has been postponed to 2021
